Learning, thinking, creativity, and wisdom come not only from the brain but from the rest of the body. The combination of movement increases memory, order, and sequencing skills. Creating dances enhances self-esteem which is very important in learning. We already see the need for children to walk all day. See for yourself the positive effects music and dance have on student development. There are many reasons why dance is so important to the health and development of our youth. It is not just for the children but also beneficial for all ages. Dance burns calories strengthen muscles, improves balance, increases flexibility, and gives the heart a good workout. Dance has also been proven to promote mental development. It also helps in confidence, high self-esteem, personal expression, Lifelong friendships and bonding between students and the teacher.




Sunny D'not is a dance choreographer who teaches various dance forms such as Bollywood, contemporary, and freestyle at Just Dance Academy. He talked about his experience and how dance is another way to stay fit.




Just Dance Academy has various dance instructors of various dance forms including Zumba. Zumba targets different age groups at once for total body toning. It Boosts heart health. It has aerobic and anaerobic benefits that help to maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory system.



Pallavi Shree, 26 years old, is a professional Kathak dancer and started learning dance when she was just 12 years old. She has achieved dance milestones at district, state, and national levels. During Covid, she was also interviewed about her dancing experience by the AB News channel.



With the movement of the dance, the child gains strength and maintains control of the body. It is also a way of expressing inner feelings, which helps to build self-esteem and confidence. Since Indian classical dance is based on legends, it teaches children the value of rich Indian literary and cultural values.


According to Cafe Dissensus Everyday, Emotional development has not received the desired attention in our educational institutions. One could argue that the deadline in world affairs is largely due to the development of human personality on the long side. Emphasis is placed on brain growth, while the heart is allowed to starve. It is this overheating of the head at the expense of the heart that supports the conceptual basis of our modern problems. If we were to allow the limited development of the head and the heart, human nature would improve basic moral values, solving much of our present world problems.
